KanyiDaily had reported that there is an ongoing #EndSARS protest across the country against the SARS tactical unit of the Nigerian Police Force over its brutality, illegal arrest, extortion, extra-judicial killings, among others.

It was gathered that early as 7am on Thursday, the #EndSARS protesters had rose from Lagos State House of Assembly to barricade Lagos/Ibadan Expressway and prevented vehicular movement on the expressway.

During the protest, some hoodlums surfaced from nowhere wielding dangerous weapons to intimidate the protesters. The protesters scampered for safety at first, but later regrouped after repelling the thugs.
