Hoodlums Attacks Oba Of Lagos, Steals His Staff Of Office, Burns His Palace [Video]

Some irate Mob on Wednesday afternoon attacked the Palace of the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, carting away valuable and setting the building ablaze.

It was gathered that the thugs broke into the palace situated at Lagos Island despite the presence of soldiers and started stealing and vandalising property.

The Oba’s traditional staff of office (opa Ase) was also stolen in the fracas. The staff of office is the symbol of authority of the monarch.

KanyiDaily had also reported how angry mob burned down the family home of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Omididun Street, Lagos Island.
