The Former governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, has recounted the events that led to the current President Muhammadu Buhari-led government under the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Speaking during an interview on BBC Hausa on Tuesday, October 5, 2020, Lamido said he could not pray or advise President Buhari on how to improve the living conditions of Nigerians.
Lamido who was Jigawa governor under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from 2007 to 2015, said President Buhari should lead the country forever if he’s doing well because Nigerians called his party (PDP) thieves and voted APC.
“You can’t say in the past 60 years of our independence that there is no progress, there is,” he said.
“I am from an opposition party, no matter how much I love Buhari or his cabinet, I can’t enter the mosque and pray for him. People called us [PDP] thieves and voted APC. So, it is left for them to judge now.
“If Buhari is doing good, they know and let him lead Nigeria forever. But if he is doing wrong, we are always there to come and take over in order to do the right thing.
“But, honestly, our leaders are not taking advantage of the natural resources we have in the country to make us progress and live better.”
Meanwhile, President Buhari has lamented that the APC is always embroiled in bitter and unnecessary squabbles which has cost the ruling party governorship and legislative seats during elections.

Wasting of time APC government, let PDP take over we are tired with this un important broom party
It’s either Mr. President is ignorant or has refused to understand that the likes of Amaechi, Akpabio, Gemade, Ogbe etc now in APC were part of the alleged PDP that looted the country. PDP is human beings like Amaechi and Akpabio. Uduaghan came to you and couldn’t define the difference and decided that the ‘devil he knows is better than the angel he didn’t know?’
Sir, PDP filtered it’s bad eggs and dumped them in APC. Can’t you see your monumental failure?
APC, save Nigeria or resign. Nigerians now know that the looting PDP is better than Saint APC.
The major problem of a.p.c are the former p.d.p rogues that join Buhari in his government like that of amaechi, akpabio, and so many of them them. So president Buhari should sack them immediately before his will collapse.
Your Excellency sir! All of you have failed us. Each and every one of you tends to care forur immediate families and the unfortunate rest of us depend on ur family spoils, whereas we voted you into power. What PMB administration is doing is not different from PDP led administration, it is only modified
Lamido is not God. It is He(God) who determines who rule forever. His entire submissions are based on malice and hatred.This country is greater than any individual.Mare blackmail will not deter the good intentions, especially the people oriented programmes. Yes, criticisms are meant to correct the wrong doings but should be well intentioned. So Lamido should have a rethink on any issues he has at stake. He should not think he is best above any other person. We rely on God for the beterment of this great nation.

We Nigerians, we have no any Word or name to call PMB but deceiver. we can’t continue waste our time to pray for him to become a righteous leader.
Our advise to him is, whatever hi want to do for Nigeriens to become uncomfortable, don’t reject please.
APC ooo PDP ooo there are all failure God should show us the right person to rule and take Nigeria to higher level, and individuals to pray for our country instead of using our months to cause our nation.

He said the truth..PMB and his administration who claimed righteous are a bunch of amalgamated looters too.They said they are not looting, they reclaimed embezzled funds,Nigerian oil is not dry yet the so called looters did better..we are hungry,no work,security is worse.At least we could sleep at home and eat,people who had certificates were given jobs..APC ..will be remembered in Nigeria for …..they know the answers!!! Nigerians will vote PDP again and again..some of the APC members have gone to face it,the rest of them will finish their tenures won from inconclusive elections and go up to face God…very soon….very soon…we are praying, you will regret deceiving people God created in His own Image.

Why pointing to Amaechi, atleast he is not doing bad in his ministry. Is it Amaechi making lopsided appointments, is it Amaechi in charge of the economy, etc. I cant speak for apabio and others but the truth is apc is bad on its own. Apc is full of wicked , insincere and super corrupted people. Ppl like Tinubu, oshiomole, ganduje, etc.
We tot PDP was bad but apc is worst.
Of course, sule lamido is right !! In the first place nigerians believed that BUHARI is the answer, which is very wrong! So we always pray for our great country.
