A former police corporal, Daniel Aaron, who was dismissed for murder, has been caught on CCTV camera stealing a phone in a police station in Benue State.
In a viral video circulating the social media, the 37-year-old was seen stealing an Infinix S5 phone that was being charged around the Police IRT Commander’s office.
Upon being interrogated after he was caught, Aaron revealed that his wife left him after he was dismissed from the Nigerian Police Force over a case of accidental discharge which claimed a life in 2014.
When asked about the phone he stole, the former police officer said he sold it for N37,000 to one Abdul around Mararaba, adding that he sent part of the money to his family.
