The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 34 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 165,215.
The NCDC made this known on Tuesday night via its official Twitter handle, where it disclosed that the new cases were recorded in 4 states including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
“On the 4th of May 2021, 34 new confirmed cases were recorded in Nigeria,” the NCDC said.
“The 34 new cases are reported from 4 states- Enugu (19), Lagos (13), FCT (1) and Kaduna (1).
“Till date, 165215 cases have been confirmed, 155371 cases have been discharged and 2063 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.”
