“36 In Lagos, 14 In Rivers” – Nigeria Confirms 53 New COVID-19 Cases As Total Hits 165,612

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 53 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 165,612.

"36 In Lagos, 14 In Rivers" - Nigeria Confirms 53 New COVID-19 Cases As Total Hits 165,612 1

The NCDC made this known on Thursday night via its official Twitter handle where ut disclosed that the infections were recorded in only three states.

According to the new report, Lagos state led with 36 new infections, followed by Rivers – with 14 and Akwa Ibom – 1.
