The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 17 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 166,534.
The NCDC made this known on Tuesday night via its official Twitter handle where it disclosed that the new cases were recorded in five states.
According to the new report, Lagos state led with 8 new infections, followed by Rivers – with 5, Kano – 2, Kaduna – 1 and Plateau – 1.
