Big Brother Naija housemate, Hazel Oyeye Onou, popularly known as Whitemoney, has emerged winner of the 6th season of the reality TV show tagged ‘Shine Ya Eyes’.
KanyiDaily recalls that the BBNaija show kicked off on Saturday, July 24, 2021, with 24 contestants both male and female. They were Boma, Saga, Pere, Yousef, White Money, Niyi, Jay Paul, Yerins, Emmanuel, Samie, Cross, Kayvee, and Michael.
Other contestants included Mini, Angel, Maria, Liquorose, Beatrice, Peace, Princess, Tega, Sarskay, Jackie B, Arin, JMK and Queen.
Themed: “Shine Ya Eye” and sponsored by Abeg in association with Patricia, the 10-week long show followed the lives of the housemates as they interacted and competed with each other to win N90 million worth of prizes, in the biggest reality TV show in Africa.
Whitemoney was announced as the winner on Sunday night, October 3, closely followed by Afije Roseline Omokhoa, popularly known as Liquorose.
Other finalists included Emmanuel, who was the first to be evicted on Sunday, followed by Angel, Cross and Pere, who was second runner-up.
The winner, who hails from Awhum town in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State, will now go home with a mouth-watering grand prize of ₦90 million.
White Money, who is a clear fan-favorite from day 1 due to his perceived humility, culinary skills and sense of humor, says he hopes to continue doing business and also hopes to explore his music career more.
He also got packs of Munch It and merchandise; Tecno Products, including the Tecno Phantom X mobile phone, WAW Detergent Cartoons and Hawaii Soap products.
