“Don’t Let Me Beat You Again, Focus On Your Job As Davido’s Nanny” – Timaya Warns Ubi Franklin

Nigerian singer, Timaya has taken to social media to warn a music executive, Ubi Franklin, that he would beat him again for undisclosed reasons.

In a post shared on his Twitter page, the singer threatened to beat the music mogul for the second time like he did in January last year if he does not focus on his new job, which according to him, is being a nanny to fellow singer Davido’s son Ifeanyi.

Timaya wrote, “Ubi Franklin u remember the beating I gave u in January last year? Don’t let me beat u again and pls I like your new JOB. As Ifeanyi’s NANI and pls don’t mess it up. Davido is a good guy he can make ur life. Pls focus on ur new JOB. Thanks.”

Ubi Franklin Replies Timaya

Reacting to the threat on his Instagram page, the mogul described the singer as being “petty” while asking him to recount what happened on that faithful day.

“See Timaya wen senior men help comot for hand dey talk say em beat me. You don forget wetin happen that day? Or you don high?” he wrote on Instagram.

In a follow-up post on Twitter, Franklin claimed Timaya was angry because he chastised him over last month’s “hit and run” incident involving a lady.

He wrote, “Timaya is so petty. You are angry cos I told you how wrong it was to knock a woman down and leave her to her fate. You come to talk trash here today? I am not a person that will see wrong and keep quiet. You were wrong to have knocked that woman down and left her there. Period.”

KanyiDaily recalls that last month, a lady had accused Timaya of hitting her with his car and fleeing the scene after she confront him about the damage he did to her car at Ikate axis of Lekki in Lagos State.
