Former President of the United States, Barack Obama has taken to social media to announce that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
The ex-president, who disclosed this via his Twitter page on Sunday, March 13, noted that he is feeling fine, adding that his wife, Michelle Obama, tested negative for the virus.
Obama tweeted, “I just tested positive for COVID. I’ve had a scratchy throat for a couple days, but am feeling fine otherwise.
Michelle and I are grateful to be vaccinated and boosted, and she has tested negative. It’s a reminder to get vaccinated if you haven’t already, even as cases go down.”
KanyiDaily recalls that in February, Queen Elizabeth II of England also tested positive for COVID, saying she’s experiencing “mild cold-like symptoms”, but will continue “light duties at Windsor”.
