Nollywood actress, Mary Lazarus has taken to social media to reveal her plans for Nigerian politicians who are seeking to buy her vote in the forthcoming 2023 general election.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, the actress said she would gladly collect money from any politician seeking to buy her vote, but she would not allow the bribery to stop her from voting for the right person.

Mary advised against rejecting gifts and money from Nigerian politicians, describing the incentives as ‘national cake’ which was stolen by the country leaders.

She wrote, ”If any Politician gives me money to vote for him/ her…. I will gladly collect the money…. Na my money… Especially the ones wey don rule before….But I go use my head vote. #DontReject #TheirMoneyOrGifts #nationalcake #nationalbudget”
