Ghanaian entertainers, Shatta Wale and John Dumelo, have mocked Nigeria after losing to Ghana on away goals rule in the 2022 FIFA World Cup play-off tie.
KanyiDaily had reported that the Super Eagles crashed out of the race to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar after drawing 1-1 with the Black Stars and losing on aggregate at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
The two teams had settled for a goalless draw in the first leg played at the Baba Yaro Stadium in Kumasi last Friday, March 25.
Reacting on his Instagram page, John Dumelo shared a video of himself celebrating the win at a restaurant in Ghana, saying: “I told you they were super CHICKENS!! 😂😂😂😂😂 congrats Black stars!!!”
Meanwhile, Shatta Wale took to his Twitter page and shared series of voice notes where he could be heard making jest of Nigeria, saying that the Ghanaian national team was simply better than the Super Eagles.
KanyiDaily recalls that John Dumelo had previously mocked Nigeria after promising to trek barefooted from Accra to Lagos if Ghana loses to the Super Eagles.
