Annie Idibia’s Brother Apologizes For Lying Against Her, Says He’s Been Depressed [Video]

Wisdom Macaulay, the eldest brother of Nollywood actress, Annie Idibia, has taken to social media to apologize over the recent allegations he made against her.

KanyiDaily recalls that Wisdom had shared a video on his Instagram page, where he alleged that he has been working for his actress but she would never pay him his dues, instead, she would send him N20,000 or N30,000 and turn him into her slave.

Wisdom claimed that Annie is a violent person and does erratic things whenever she is angry. He also alleged that the actress is a drug addict and she introduced him to drugs.

The actress’ brother said he hasn’t been able to pay the dowry for his girlfriend that bore him three children as a result of his condition which he blamed on Annie while accusing her of taking away his means of livelihood.

Wisdom also accused her of being a very troublesome person and of sending some armed men to attack him. He said Annie should be held responsible if anything happens to him.

Annie Idibia Replies Wisdom Macaulay

Taking to her Instagram page, the actress accused her elder brother of being irresponsible, noting that their rift started after she refused to make him her manager, as she wasn’t comfortable with that.

Annie claimed that she has been responsible for the upkeep of her brother, his wife, and three kids. She also alleged that Wisdom had threatened to kill himself for petty reasons several times.

The mother of two went on to ask why her brother was intent on destroying her with his libelous statements seeing as she works so hard for the career she has which is how she has been able to cater to him and his family.

The actress added that she had given her millions of Naira and several cars in the past and has her banking history to prove it. She urged him to stop feeling entitled to her money and leave the Idibia family alone.

Wisdom Macaulay Apologizes To Annie Idibia

In a follow-up video shared on his Instagram page on Saturday, Wisdom begged Annie to forgive him for his outburst, noting that neither he nor his sister does hard drugs.

He explained that he made the false claims due to depression, adding that he was in a bad place because his source of income was taken from him and it made him angry.

The man also went on to apologise to his sister’s husband and singer, 2face, his mother as well his own wife. Wisdom also called on her colleagues in the industry to plead with the actress to forgive him.

Wisdom who stated that he is a movie director and a fashion designer also went on to beg well-meaning Nigerians to assist him with jobs so that he can stand as a man.

He said, “I want to use this opportunity to apologise to my sister Annie, her husband, and the entire Idibia family. I also want to apologise to my mother, wife, and in-inlaws. I’m sorry for the outburst that occurred days back.

“I reach out to Annie’s colleagues in the industry to help me beg Annie to find it in her heart to forgive me. She is not on drugs. I have never seen it with her. I’m not on drugs either. I’ve been depressed for a long time now.

“I’ve realised that the route I took was not the right one. It was a lot to see your source of income is taken away. It is what led me to lay false allegations against my family members. I’m a movie producer and fashion designer.

“I beg meaningful Nigerians and others who want to give me a chance to establish myself and stand as a man. You can reach out to me. I’m deeply sorry. My sister and I are not on drugs. It came from a bad place. I apologise.”
