Billionaire businessman, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has raised an alarm that someone is using his name to scam people on social media.
Taking to his Instagram page, the 47-year-old entrepreneur shared a screenshot from a fake Twitter page, asking tweeps if they will accept N10m loan to pay back N20m after two years.
Cubana warned that he wasn’t on Twitter but scammers use his name for fraudulent activities. He asked his fans to help him report the page.
He wrote, “Someone has been using my name on Twitter to do a lot of scams! I am not on Twitter. I am not on Twitter!! This is not me!
“Obi_cubana is not on Twitter please! it’s a fake page!!! It is fraudulent!!! Please help me report this Twitter page! Thank you.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Obi Cubana had recently promised to give the sum of 2m each to 20 of his secondary school classmates who are struggling financially to establish themselves.
