The All Progressives Congress, APC screening committee has disqualified 10 presidential aspirants from its primaries scheduled for next week.
John Oyegun, the Chairman of the Committee, disclosed this on Friday, June 3.
According to him, only 13 out of the 23 aspirants were successfully screened and cleared by the committee.
KanyiDaily recalls that the screening exercise took place between Monday, 30th May, and Tuesday, 31st May ahead of the party’s primary election scheduled to take place between 6 and 8 June.
Oyegun speaking on the outcome of the screening exercise failed to reveal the names of the disqualified candidates but stated that the committee cleared only young and energetic aspirants vying for the position.
