Popular Nigerian singer, Davido has offered a five-year scholarship to Morro Suleyman, a Ghanaian student who scored distinctions in all subjects in the West African Examination Council (WAEC).
On Wednesday, the singer had called on the general public to help him find the “intelligent student” who stopped his education at the secondary school level due to a lack of funds.
Davido, who came across the piece of news in the media, urged his fans to help him find the student whose results showed that he had scored A1 in all his subjects in WAEC.
In a follow-up tweet, the singer displayed Suleyman’s results and announced that he had offered him a scholarship at Adeleke University, owned by his father in Osun State.
Davido, who confirmed that Suleyman lives in Ghana, added that the accommodation and allowance would be covered in the five-year period.
He wrote, “We have contacted Suleyman who lives in Ghana and he has been given a full 4/5 year scholarship to Adeleke University. Accommodation and allowance included! God bless y’all.”
KanyiDaily had recently reported how Davido raised N250 million over 72 hours after he shared his account details on social media during his birthday, and donated the entire money raised to several orphanages across the country.
