KanyiDaily recalls that Bishop Oyedepo had recently described Buhari’s government as the “most wicked and corrupt” in the history of Nigeria.

The cleric said the N80 billion allegedly stolen by the Accountant-General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris, would be enough to meet the demands of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), which led to the shutting down of schools.

Reacting on his Twitter page, Adesina said Bishop Oyedepo is blinded by hatred for President Buhari which, according to him, is why the cleric cannot differentiate between Auditor-General and Accountant-General.

The presidential aide further called on the man of God to go and get his facts right on the difference between auditor-general and accountant-general.

He wrote, “The bishop at Ota can’t even get his facts right. Blinded by hatred for PMB, he says Auditor General stole N80bn.

“Pity! He doesn’t know difference between Accountant General (only alleged) and Auditor General. Like OBJ said long ago, we should begin to ordain our own bishops.”

KanyiDaily recalls that Bishops Oyedepo had also branded the president Buhari led administration as the worst thing that has happened to Nigeria.
