IGP Orders Probe Of Portable For ‘Creating One Million Boys, Ajah Boys Cult Groups’ [Video]
The inspector-general of police (IGP), Usman Alkali Baba has ordered a probe of a controversial singer, Portable after he was seen in a video boasting that he founded notorious cult groups in Lagos.
Portable Claims He Founded Notorious Cult Groups
In a now-deleted video shared on his Instagram page, the singer boasted to not only have founded the popular robbery gang called ‘One Million Boys’ and another cult group known as ‘Ajah Boys’.
“Open your ears and listen well, have you heard about Ajah boys, One Million boys? I’m the one who founded it, go and ask,” Portable boasted in the Yoruba language.
Reacting on his Twitter page on Monday evening, police spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi said the IGP has ordered CP Lagos to investigate Portable’s statement and take necessary legal action.
He said, “Cultism: Police to Investigate Portable over formation of One Million Boys Sequel to the trending video of one Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable where he claimed to have formed the One-Million Boys cult group terrorising some parts of Lagos State, the IGP has ordered CP Lagos to investigate the indicting statement and take necessary legal action.
“This directive is premised on the continuous effort of the Nigeria Police Force to fish out pillars and sponsors of cult groups in order to decimate their activities and restore sanity to our society.”

KanyiDaily recalls that Portable had recently reported himself at the Ogun police station after he was invited for allegedly instigating an assault on a disc jockey.
