Ngozi Orji, the wife of Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Zack Orji, has declared her support for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, in the 2023 general election.

Ngozi Orji Backs Peter Obi

The development comes just a few hours after her husband, Zack Orji, shared a campaign video in which he expressed his belief that Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, will transform Nigeria’s economy.

Taking to her Instagram page, Ngozi shared a video in which Peter Obi appeared to have paid a visit to Anselm Madubuko’s Revival Church Assembly in Ogba, Lagos.

Sharing a video and photos of Peter Obi at the church service, Ngozi declared herself “Obidient,” a title associated with supporters of the Labour Party candidate.

She wrote, “It was An Awesome Time Today. That Moment Our Apostle General Anselm Madubuko Introduced H E Sir Peter Obi. What an Awesome Way To Wrap up AZUSA 20 Conference. God bless you Sir for Coming. We are OBIdient. We Move.”

Zack Orji and Ngozi are happily married with three children.

KanyiDaily had also reported that another veteran actor, Nkem Owoh, popularly known as Osuofia, rejected an offer of N10 million to endorse Bola Tinubu, in the 2023 presidential election.
