Nollywood Filmmaker, Otu Njama Dies Hours After Mourning Colleague, Biyi Bandele

Nollywood filmmaker, Otu Njama has passed away just a few hours after he took to social media to mourn the death of his colleague, Biyi Bandele.

Otu Njama Is Dead

According to LIB, Njama’s sister simply identified as Judith confirmed that the filmmaker, who was in his thirties, died on Tuesday night, August 9, 2022.

Judith said that her brother was found dead yesterday at about 9 pm in his home in First Unity estate in Badore, Ajah area of Lagos state.

Njama was alleged to have seen his doctor, who told him his blood pressure was about 200 and advised him to rest, but he couldn’t because he had a gig tomorrow, August 11.

He then visited his bar located in the area and after seeing his staff and taking a meal, retired to his home and asked that no one should disturb him. Hours later, his body was discovered in his home.

Judith told the publication that a drug was found in his apartment and a check on google showed it was for blood pressure. She stated that her brother never told her about his health issues.

Otu Njama’s death comes a few hours after he joined the Nollywood community to mourn the passing of his colleague, Biyi Bandele on his Whatsapp status on Tuesday, August 9.

KanyiDaily had also reported how a popular TikTok star simply identified as Mimi died under strange circumstances after her boyfriend allegedly used her for money rituals.
