Actor Nicolas Cage Welcomes First Child With His Wife, Riko Shibata

Hollywood actor, Nicolas Cage has welcomed first child together with his wife, Riko Shibata.

The couple’s publicist told People that the 58-year-old actor and his artist wife, 27, welcomed a daughter named August Francesca Coppola Cage, on Wednesday, September 7, in Los Angeles.

“Nicolas and Riko are happy to announce the birth of their daughter. Mother and daughter are doing fine,” their publicist was quoted to have said.

This is the first child for Shibata, while Cage, is already a dad to two children — Weston, 31, and Kal-El, 16 — from previous relationships.

Cage who met Shibata in Shiga, Japan, more than a year prior to their nuptials in Las Vegas in February 2021.
