Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has been spotted for the first time with his first wife, May Aligwe, since they started having issues over his second wife, Judy Austin.
KanyiDaily recalls that in April, Edochie unveiled his second wife, Judy Moghalu, and their baby despite still being married to his first wife, May Aligwe, for 17 years with four kids.
Edochie’s revelation triggered a lot of mixed reactions on social media, with his first wife slamming him saying “May God judge you both.”
The actor has made several attempts to make peace with his first wife, but May debunked any hope of reconciliation, stressing that her family and faith do not support polygamy.
Last Friday, Edochie penned a sweet birthday message to his first wife, praying for God’s protection in her life, and promising to love her forever.
During May’s birthday celebration, the actor mounted the stage and placed his arm over her shoulder while telling the audience that the day is about her.
In a viral video, Edochie could be seen speaking about May when someone from the crowd said, “What God has joined together…”, and he responded: “No man can put asunder.”
Edochie, who recently revealed that he’s still living together with May despite their marital crisis, was also seen with his arm around his first wife’s waist during the birthday celebration.
KanyiDaily recalls that Yul Edochie had recently lambasted his colleague, Uche Maduagwu for giving him marriage advice when he (Maduagwu) was not married.
