Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye has claimed that 99.9% of his colleagues and the entertainment industry, in general, are all “OBIdients.”
Peter, who is the second half of the music group, P-Square stated this in a tweet on his handle on Saturday.
“OBIdients” is the name given to supporters of the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
In the tweet, the singer called on everyone to be patient with Obi and the LP.
“99.9% of my colleagues and the entertainment industry, in general, are all OBIdient! Just be patient with them☺️👌🏾 @NgLabour @PeterObi,” he wrote.
Peter did not, however, back his statement up with any statistics.
Nollywood actors, Zubby Michael and Frederick Leonard, singer, Charly Boy, and Peter’s twin brother, Paul are some of the celebrities that have endorsed Obi for the presidency.
Kanyi Daily reports that the singer’s tweet comes shortly after the endorsement for the former Anambra governor by popular Skit maker and comedian, Mr. Macaroni.
