Adamu Garba: Peter Obi Is A Political IPOB/ESN Member

A member of the Tinubu/Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council, Adamu Garba has accused the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi of being a political IPOB/ESN member.

Adamu Garba Alleges That Peter Obi Is A Political IPOB/ESN Member

IPOB, which stands for the Indigenous People of Biafra has been proscribed by the federal government of Nigeria.

ESN on the other hand, which stands for Eastern Security Network is the militant wing of IPOB.

Nnamdi Kanu is the leader of IPOB.

IPOB has been fingered to be behind most violent crimes in the South East.

Garba was reacting to the comment made by Obi in which he said there is Nigeria but there are no ‘Nigerians’.

The LP presidential candidate had on November 13th, in a short post on his verified Twitter handle said Nigerians must be able to dwell securely and safely irrespective of where they live.

“There is Nigeria, But there are no Nigerians. Currently, Nigeria works for a small minority of people; Nigeria must work for ALL Nigerians. Nigerians must be able to dwell securely and in safety wherever they live. This is the first duty of government. This makes security a top priority for me,” the post reads.

Taking to his Twitter handle on Tuesday in reaction to Obi’s statement, Garba said by that comment, the former Anambra governor has never been a Nigerian.

He asked if there is any difference between Obi’s statement and Nnamdi Kanu’s or ESN’s.

The former presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) said Obi is a political IPOB/ESN member.

He wrote, “Most of you don’t pay attention. Peter Obi said there is Nigeria but there are no ‘Nigerians’. So, all these while, he has never been a Nigerian? Shocking!

“Is there any difference between his statements & Nnamdi Kanu’s or ESN’s?

“Peter Obi is a political IPOB/ESN member. BEWARE!”

Obi is yet to react to this allegation at the time of filing this report.

In other news, Kanyi Daily reported that the Southern and Middle Belt Forum had endorsed Obi for the 2023 presidential election.

Also, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide endorsed Obi in a statement it released on Sunday night.

The Igbo body said the former Anambra governor represented “Nigerian conscience, moral probity, generational hope, redemption epiphany, and above all, the Igbo collective unconscious.”
