The Department of State Services (DSS) on Thursday evening, gave the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and other stakeholders in the downstream sector 48 hours to end the lingering fuel scarcity across the country.
The spokesman of the DSS, Peter Afunanya stated this while addressing journalists at the DSS headquarters in Abuja.
Afunanya said they held a closed-door meeting with stakeholders who agreed to end the scarcity.
According to him, all DSS commands had been placed on red alert and would commence operations to bring defaulters to book.
This is a developing story. More details will be added soon.
