PHOTOS: Sanwo-Olu Inaugurates Blue Line Rail In Lagos

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has inaugurated the Blue Line Rail in the state.

Sanwo-Olu inaugurated the project on Wednesday.

This was disclosed by Sanwo-Olu’s aide, Jubril Gawat on his official Twitter handle.

According to Gawat, the first phase of the infrastructure works for the rail project
(Marina to Mile 2) has been completed and is being inaugurated on Wednesday (today).

He wrote, “COMPLETED: Phase 1 of the Infrastructure Works for the BLUE LINE Rail Project is done (Marina to Mile 2) ….. Congratulations Lagosians …. Congratulations the Performing Governor of Lagos State, @jidesanwoolu.”

The blue line is one of seven Lagos metro rail lines, spanning from Marina to Okokomaiko.

In other news, Kanyi Daily reported that a Nigerian lady, Nefisah recounted how a friend that was squatting with her used her as a guarantor to borrow money without her knowledge.

She said she was forced to pay the N5k her friend borrowed to make Turkey stew for her boyfriend and left for Lagos afterward.
