The Delta State Police Command said it has rescued three abducted victims from the den of kidnappers in the state.

Spokesman of the command, Bright Edafe disclosed this in a short tweet in pidgin on his handle on Sunday.

Edafe said the victims were rescued on Saturday, December 31st, 2022.

He said the kidnappers abandoned their victims and ran away when they sighted the police closing in on them.

He wrote, “Permit me to use pidgin abeg. So, the command rescued three kidnapped victims on 31/12/2022.

“This time, the kidnappers abandoned their victims and ran away wen them see say the policemen don almost get them before them go collect wototo from our ever gallant Police officers.”

Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, intercepted a Brazil returnee, Agbasi Prosper Chux with 105 parcels of cocaine concealed in candies at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos on Christmas Day.
