Paul Okoye Cries Out As He Buys N40,000 With N70,000 Amid Naira Notes Scarcity

Paul Okoye of the music group, Psquare, has cried out over the prevailing scarcity of naira notes in the country.

In a post shared on his Instagram story, the singer claimed he bought N40,000 with N70,000 for a service at an embassy where they only accepted cash.

Okoye wrote, “Omoh!!! I buy money today!! Just because I have to pay for a certain visa fee in an embassy, and it has to be paid in cash. Jokes apart I bought N40k with N70k Aahhh!!!!!! Naija breaking new records.”

This comes a few hours after Paul Okoye commended the decision of President Muhammadu Buhari to extend the validity period of the old N200 notes.
