KanyiDaily recalls that AY Makun revealed that his 17-year-old beef with Basketmouth started in 2016 over a sum of N30,000 not paid to him at the start of his career in the comedy industry.
AY also recounted how he was embarrassed and humiliated at Basketmouth’s wedding.
According to him, he attended the wedding but wasn’t permitted into the venue because he wasn’t invited as Basketmouth only included his wife’s name on the list of guests.
But during a recent interview with media personality, Nedu Wazobia, on his podcast, Honest bunch, Basketmouth said that AY is not his friend, hence the comedian and his wife were not invited to his wedding.
He said, “AY is not my friend, I didn’t invite him nor his wife to my wedding, they just came themselves. I only invited my friends.”
Taking to his Instagram page, Mabel Makun shared a cryptic post, saying that some people pass information in an aggressive manner because that is the only way they know how to do so.
She wrote: “I have come to realize that some people pass information in an aggressive manner because they know no other way.
“Everyone can’t be soft spoken. Understand this and know peace,” interior designer added.
