KanyiDaily recalls that Charles was coronated as the King of England, with his wife Camila as the Queen Consort on Saturday, 6 May 2023, at Westminster Abbey.
The festive celebration which would last three days comes eight months after the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth II, who died in September 2022 at the age of 96.
In celebration of the prestigious ceremony, an event honoring the coronation of the British Royal Family was organized in Lagos and was attended by Phyna on Friday night.
Taking to her Instagram page, Phyna shared photos and videos of herself at the clone event with the caption, “How I turned up for The Coronation of King Charles III”.
Phyna’s post trigged outrage among social media users who termed it unnecessary and particularly ridiculous, others described the event as “Naija branch” of the coronation.
