Bukunmi Oluwasina Reacts After Sylvester Madu Was Seen Selling ‘Okrika’ In Enugu

Nollywood actress, Bukunmi Oluwasina has expressed her support for her male colleague, Sylvester Madu, after he was seen selling second-hand clothing, commonly known as Okrika.

KanyiDaily had published a video showing the moment Sylvester Madu was spotted packing and sorting his bags filled with Okrika clothes at a market in Enugu State.

The actor was unaware that he was being filmed by some individuals who were shocked to see him engaging in such a hustle despite his previous appearances in popular movies.

Reacting in the comment section of the video, Bukunmi Oluwasina defended Sylvester Madu’s legitimate means of earning a living, while also criticizing other celebrities who live fake lifestyles.

She wrote, “You all have so normalise the fake lives some celebs live on social media that you no longer see the pride and dignity in those who don’t join the trend but rather, choose to be themselves and do whatever they can to provide for their family.

“He is actually better than some of your role models, who borrow designers to take pix and post online, only to return them to the stores they bought it from or owners.

“And shame on those recording him without his consent and those posting. Atleast he isn’t begging or stealing. He could even be on set. live and let others live.”

KanyiDaily had also reported how late Nollywood actor, Ernest Asuzu was spotted begging for money on the roadside at Oke-Afa in Isolo area of Lagos state.
