Police Nab Armed Robbery Suspects, Including 13-Year-Old Boy, in Adamawa State

The Adamawa State Police Command has successfully apprehended a suspected armed robbery gang, which notably included a 13-year-old boy. The arrest took place in Yola North Local Government Area of the state.

Confirming the operation, SP Suleiman Nguroje, the command’s spokesperson, informed the press that the gang specialized in breaking into and stealing valuable items from shops and houses in the State Capital. They were also involved in robbing innocent individuals of their belongings. The arrested individuals were identified as Yusuf Bashir (18), Isa Muhammed (20), Ayo Morofade (18), Shuaibu Sudais (13), and Muhammed Hassan (20).

During the investigation, law enforcement recovered several items from the suspects, including a sewing machine, generator, clothing materials, cutlass, and mobile phones, among others.

CP Afolabi Babatola, the state’s Commissioner of Police, expressed satisfaction with the arrest and instructed the police force to intensify efforts in cracking down on criminals who pose a threat to public peace.
