Former Military Spokesman, Bernard Onyeuko Is Dead

Former military spokesperson and Director of Defence Media Operations, Major-General Bernard Onyeuko (rtd) has passed away.

Reports indicate that he died on Saturday morning, August 26, 2023, after complaining of cold and was rushed to a private hospital.

Reacting to the tragic news, Garba Shehu, the former spokesperson of President Muhammadu Buhari, offered his condolences and prayers

He expressed his hope that Major-General Onyeuko finds peace in the afterlife and extended his sympathies to the bereaved family.

“Just read the shocking news that we have lost our friend, the former military spokesperson, Major-General Bernard Onyeuko (rtd).

“May the Almighty grant fortitude to the family to bear the loss. RIP,” Shehu tweeted.
