KanyiDaily recalls that a Twitter user, @Ssbmuzik, had shared images of Emmanuel Myam, who goes by the alias Emmiwuks, riding on a bicycle from Benue state to Lagos just to meet Davido.
In the photos, Emmiwuks was seen proudly displaying a banner featuring the emblem of the DMW boss, and his bicycle was adorned with a message that boldly stated, ‘Benue to Lagos on a bicycle for Davido.’
@Ssbmuzik, who called for retweets, revealed that @Emmiwuks had already spent eight days on the road in his determined endeavor to reach Davido in Lagos.
However, Davido offered some advice to Emmiwuks, urging him to turn around and go home, stressing that he was not available in the country at the moment.
Despite the heartfelt plea from Davido, Emmiwuks remained resolute and unyielding in his commitment to his adventure, insisting that he’s not going back to Benue.
The man, who shared a photo of his current location via his Twitter page, said he was already heading to Ogun from Benin, revealing that he wants to present a gift to Davido in Lagos.
In a surprise twist, Davido exhibited benevolence by encouraging Emmiwuks to retrace his steps and return home, while also urging him to share his bank account information.
The singer emphasized that for the time being, Emmiwuks should postpone his expedition, stressing that upon his return to Nigeria, the cyclist could resume his ‘great’ journey.
He said; “U no wan hear …. Oya send account … then u can do ur great journey when I’m back ”
KanyiDaily recalls that Davido had also responded to a fan who inquired when he would achieve stadium-selling success like his fellow artists, Wizkid and Burna Boy.
