Following Mohbad’s death, Samklef explained why many record label bosses and music elites are silent about the singer’s demise, revealing that some are aware of their own involvement but weren’t as aggressive as Naira Marley.
Sharing his own experience with Banky W, Samklef recounted how Banky and his friend, affiliated with Soundcity, played a role in his cancel culture.
The music producer, who mocked Banky W’s current pastoral calling, urged fellow artists to share their genuine experiences.
Samklef said he has forgiven Banky W for what he did to him, but vowed to share the story on social media for public awareness.
He wrote, “Banky w The individual who initiated my personal cancel culture! 2012 And one of his friend in Soundcity. He is now a pastor lol.
“Fellow artists, it’s time to share your genuine experiences! Don’t hesitate!
“The reason many of them remain quiet about this matter is that they are aware of their own involvement. They where not just violent like naira Marley!
“I HAVE FORGIVEN BUT I WILL STILL TELL MY STORY, SO THAT PEOPLE CANL EARN. ABI NO BE PEOPLE STORY DEY FOR BIBLE? NOBODY IS ABOVE COLLECTING!”
KanyiDaily recalls that Samklef recently revealed that he has not received his royalties from Wizkid’s 2011 project when he was signed to Empire Mates Entertainment (EME), a record deal owned by Banky W.
