Big Brother Naija reality star, Uriel Oputa claims that the relationship stunt she pulled with her colleague, Groovy, played a significant role in her breakup with her ex-boyfriend.

KanyiDaily recalls that Uriel, 34, and Groovy, 29, had raised eyebrows when a video of them kissing went viral, fueling speculation about a budding romance.

However, both later clarified that they were not dating, explaining that their relationship was merely a “stunt” and the kiss was scripted.

During in a recent episode of the Spill With Phyna podcast, Uriel revealed that her ex-boyfriend broke up with her because of her kiss with Groovy.

She expressed the difficulty she faced as fans enthusiastically embraced the idea of their supposed relationship, leading to unwarranted attention.

Uriel Oputa said, “A lot of people thought my relationship stunt with Groovy was real. Fans were already hyping our ‘relationship.’ It was hard because I had people calling me.

“Part of the reason I broke up with my ex-boyfriend is because of the Groovy stunt. It was too much, and I understand that it was part of the reason but work is work.”
