Davido Announces N300 Million Donation To Orphanages In Nigeria

Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has announced his intention to donate N300 million to orphanages across Nigeria.

In a post shared on his Twitter page, Davido said the donation will be facilitated through his philanthropic organization, The David Adeleke Foundation, marking an annual commitment to support the nation.

The singer shared this philanthropic endeavor on February 21, promising to unveil the specific disbursement details on the following day, Wednesday.

He wrote, “I and my foundation pledge the sum of 300 million Naira to orphanages around Nigeria… as my yearly contribution to the Nation.. details of disbursement tomorrow.”

This comes seven months after Davido donated N237 million to support the less privileged in 424 orphanages across the country.
