In a post shared on his Twitter page, Flavour revealed that online fraudsters, known as yahoo boys, are impersonating him to defraud people of their money.
The singer, who emphasized that he would never request money from his fans, urged anyone who encounters such impersonation to report the incidents to the relevant authorities.
He wrote, “Scammers are still in the business of impersonating me online. Please be aware that I will NEVER ask fans for money or any personal information.
“If you’re contacted by someone claiming to be me, DO NOT engage with them and please report the account to the appropriate authorities.”
