Nollywood has lost one of its veteran actors with the death of Ganiyu Oyeyemi, popularly known as Ogunjimi.

Veteran Actor, Ganiyu Oyeyemi ‘Ogunjimi' Is Dead

The sad news was announced on Friday by his colleague, Kunle Afod, via a heartfelt post on Instagram.

Afod expressed the collective efforts made to save Ogunjimi’s life, but sadly, they were in vain.

He wrote, “We tried our best but God loves you more. May his soul rest in peace, Baba Ogunjinmi. RIP. Sun re oooo.”

As of the time of filing this report, the cause of Ogunjimi’s death has not been disclosed.

KanyiDaily recalls that veteran actor, Zulu Adigwe also passed away three days ago.
