Raina Nancy Chassagne, the wife of American rapper Tory Lanez, has filed for divorce after less than a year of marriage.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ on June 10, Chassagne and Lanez got married on June 25, 2023, and separated on June 1, 2024.
Chassagne and Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson, have a 7-year-old son, Kai’lon.
She is seeking legal and physical custody of their son while citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce.
Lanez is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Pete, in the feet in the summer of 2020 in the Hollywood Hills.
Tory married Raina Chassagne, the mother of his son Kai, while serving his sentence.
KanyiDaily recalls that Tory Lanez was convicted and jailed on three felony charges, including assault with a semi-automatic firearm, having a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.
