On Tuesday, Chike, known for his hit song “Boo of the Booless,” posted a snippet of an unreleased song on his X page.

Reacting to the post, critic Daniel Omowonuola Lawal (@Hateofx) commented, “Mohbad made you,” suggesting that Chike’s fame was because of his collaboration with Mohbad.

Chike responded, doubting Lawal’s ability to be successful on his own, and wrote, “Your mother made you, but I hope you find somone to MAKE you coz I don’t see you doing it yourself . Jesus stays king (black love emoji).

Lawal fired back, arguing that Mohbad’s influence helped Chike achieve “40 million streams” on music platforms.

In response, Chike taunted Lawal, saying he seemed hungry, and offered to send him N1 million to help him see things more clearly.

“I for send you like 1M now, make hunger comot your eye make you see road but your account fit collapse. Let the good guy rest in peace,” Chike wrote.

In the heated exchange, Lawal sent his account details, and Chike shared a receipt showing he had transferred N1 million to Lawal, remarking, “hungry boy go and eat.”
