Israel Adesanya Bets N16.45m On Anthony Joshua To Defeat Daniel Dubois In IBF Title Fight

UFC fighter, Israel Adesanya has staked N16.45 million ($10,000) on Anthony Joshua defeating Daniel Dubois in the IBF world heavyweight title match.

Daniel Dubois, who was originally the interim IBF champion, became the full champion in June 2024 after Oleksandr Usyk vacated the title.

On Saturday, September 21, Dubois will face Anthony Joshua in what will be Joshua’s 13th world title fight.

A victory for Joshua could set up a showdown with the winner of the upcoming Usyk vs Fury rematch next year.

Israel Adesanya shared a post on Instagram featuring a picture of himself with Joshua, captioned, “OGUN!! This fight got beef… grab the @stake sauce.”

He also showed off his $10,000 bet, which could potentially yield $50,000 if Joshua secures a victory between the 10th and 12th rounds.

This comes a few months after Anthony Joshua destroyed Francis Ngannou in two rounds in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
