Davido Pledges N300 Million Donation To Orphanages And Anti-Drug Campaigns

Nigerian singer, Davido has announced plans to donate N300 million to orphanages and organizations supporting anti-drug campaigns in honor of his upcoming 32nd birthday.

As part of the celebration, Davido announced the donation in a post on X (formerly Twitter), saying the funds would go toward helping orphans and promoting youth awareness on drug abuse prevention.

The “Awuke” hitmaker also shared that further details about the donation would be provided soon.

He wrote, “Once again my birthday this year we Donating to orphanages and a charity that helps young people stay away from drug abuse & addiction. This year is N300m . Details to follow soon ❤️”.

KanyiDaily recalls that in 2023, Davido donated a sum of N237 million to support the less privileged in 424 orphanages across the country.
