Jake Paul Defeats Mike Tyson By Unanimous Decision In Boxing Match

Social media sensation, Jake Paul secured a unanimous decision victory over boxing icon Mike Tyson on Friday night at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the United States.

During the boxing match on Friday, November 15, the judges all scored the fight in Paul’s favor with tallies of 80-72, 79-73, and 79-73.

With this win, Paul improved his professional boxing record to 11-1, while Tyson’s legendary career record now stands at 50-7.

He’s exactly what I thought, one of the greatest to ever do it” Paul said in his post-fight interview.

When asked if this bout marked the end of his boxing career, Tyson, now 58, expressed uncertainty. “I don’t think so,” he said during the broadcast. “Maybe the brother (Logan Paul).

Paul, 27, dominated much of the fight. After an aggressive start from Tyson in the opening round, the effects of age began to show.

Tyson struggled to maintain his pace, landing few meaningful punches and slowing down considerably as the fight progressed.

Jake Paul, the younger fighter, capitalized by landing consistent jabs and hooks while absorbing little damage.

When asked who he wanted to fight next, Paul confidently replied, “Anyone I want. Everyone is next on the list.

Paul, who started his professional boxing journey in 2020, has already claimed victories over notable opponents, including former UFC fighters Ben Askren, Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley, Nate Diaz, and Mike Perry.

His only loss was a split decision to Tommy Fury, the younger half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

Mike Tyson, considered one of the greatest and most feared boxers in history, began his career with an astonishing 19 consecutive knockouts, 12 of which came in the first round.

At just 20 years old, he defeated Trevor Berbick to become the youngest heavyweight champion ever. Tyson ruled the heavyweight division from 1987 to 1990, capturing and defending the WBA, WBC, and IBF titles with an unbeaten 37-0 record.

However, his first defeat came in 1990 when he was knocked out by Buster Douglas in what remains one of the sport’s biggest upsets.

Tyson fought 20 more times after that loss, going 13-5 with two no-contests before retiring in 2005 following a loss to Kevin McBride.

In 2011, he was inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame.

KanyiDaily recalls that Mike Tyson was caught on camera beating up a fellow passenger on a plane about to fly out of San Francisco.
