Though he didn’t share his destination, Bobrisky posted videos on his Instagram story Monday morning, showing off his first-class ticket and commenting on the luxury of his travel.
“See you soon, Nigeria. This girl bought a first-class ticket three times; that’s over 30 million. Raise the bar for this girl,” he bragged.
The crossdresser also joked about the disfigurement of his passport photo, saying, “That passport disfigured my picture.”
Bobrisky’s departure comes a few days after he was stopped at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos last Thursday while trying to board a KLM flight to Amsterdam, en route to London.
Afterward, he was taken to the EFCC headquarters in Abuja, where he reportedly faced questioning over allegations that he tried to pay off officials with N15 million to drop money laundering charges.
Bobrisky’s legal troubles date back to September when social media personality Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, released an audio recording allegedly of the crossdresser discussing attempts to bribe EFCC officials to dismiss the charges against him.
