Nigerian show promoter and talent manager Paul Okoye, popularly known as PaulO, has responded to claims made by singer Spyro about not earning money while signed to his record label.
In a recent interview, Spyro alleged that during his two years under PaulO’s label, he did not make any money.
He added that while PaulO owned three Rolls Royce cars, he often had to borrow money from him for personal expenses.
Spyro described PaulO as a kind man but said he lacked the knowledge to effectively manage a record label.
In his response, PaulO shared a spreadsheet detailing expenses he covered for Spyro during their time together.
The music mogul revealed that he spent N12 million on the singer but did not see any returns from his investment.
KanyiDaily recalls that Spyro recently shared his frustration about the challenges of being a celebrity in Lagos.
