Salome Adaidu Was Always Cheating On Me, I Have No Regrets Killing Her – Timileyin Ajayi [Video]

Gospel singer, Timileyin Ajayi, who was arrested for killing his 24-year-old girlfriend Salome Adaidu, stated that he has no regrets about the crime, claiming she was cheating on him with other men.

The 32-year-old suspect has been taken into custody at the Criminal Investigation Department of the Nasarawa State Police in Lafia for the alleged murder of Salome Adaidu.

Salome Adaidu, a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) serving in Abuja, was reportedly killed when she visited Ajayi’s home in the Papalana area of New Karshi, Nasarawa State.

Timileyin Ajayi was arrested on January 12 while trying to dispose of Adaidu’s severed head after dismembering her body.

He was later paraded at the Nasarawa State Police Command headquarters, where he was shown with the knife and machetes he allegedly used in the crime.

In an interview with Channels Television, Ajayi admitted to the murder, explaining that it was not planned but was driven by jealousy.

The suspect said that he discovered Adaidu’s infidelity through her phone, where he found messages with other men.

I killed her because we don’t have each other all the time, it’s not something I planned. It happened on that day and it happened. Not that I have the plan in mind, she was cheating.

“She hides most of the things from me most times. I got to know from her phone. I saw her chats with other guys on the phone, that was why I decided,” he said.

When asked if he regretted the killing, Ajayi responded, “I don’t have any regrets because life is reciprocal that is what I thought. If you must do something to someone, you have to be reciprocal with that person.

“You have to understand what that person is going through so that you can actually put yourself in the position that the person is going through. That is why I don’t have any regrets because we were actually compatible.”

Despite media reports suggesting he was a gospel singer, Timileyin Ajayi identified himself as a cryptocurrency trader in the interview.
