BBNaija Star, Nengi Addresses Rumours Of Having A Baby With Married Governor

Big Brother Naija reality star, Nengi Rebecca Hampson has responded to circulating rumors claiming she had a child for a married governor.

Recently, social media was flooded with speculation that the BBNaija star had secretly welcomed a baby with 65-year-old Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, and had allegedly become his fifth wife.

In a series of posts shared on her X page, Nengi finally addressed the claims, making it clear that she does not entertain social media falsehoods but felt the need to set the record straight.

The reality star dismissed the allegations, stating that she is not pregnant for any governor and asked to be allowed to enjoy her life and pregnancy in peace.

Nengi explained that while she usually ignores baseless rumors, she decided to speak up because the situation involved people she deeply respects, and she wouldn’t let an important part of her life be misrepresented.

“As much as I believe social media lies aren’t worth my time, I’ve come to accept that we live in a world where people are quick to spread lies without limits so let me be clear, I’m not pregnant for any Governor.

“I’ve chosen to speak coz this isn’t just an attack on me, it involves people I hold in the highest regard, and I won’t allow a beautiful, personal part of my life be turned into something ugly.

“While I continue to mind my own business and enjoy my pregnancy in PEACE, I wish y’all Love and a happy Valentine’s weekend ,” she wrote.

KanyiDaily recalls that Governor Douye Diri also denied rumors that he is responsible for the pregnancy of Nengi Rebecca Hampson.
