Speaking on the *Mic On* podcast, Cosmas Maduka addressed a common concern raised by women—whether men without a steady income or a car should approach them for marriage.
In his response to the host, Seun Okinbaloye, the billionaire acknowledged the significance of financial preparedness.
He stressed that a responsible man should have at least a two- or three-bedroom apartment and be transparent about his monthly earnings.
Maduka said, “Seun, it’s finding the middle of the road, because that is also important. There are ladies who jump at a man because he say, ‘I’ll marry you. I love you.’ Will you eat love?
“I told ladies, I say, ‘if you marry a man who has no job because he speaks in tongues, you’re not spiritual.’ I do not encourage ladies to marry a man that has no plan for his life.
“The first thing I said, minimum, he must have a two or three bedrooms apartment where he’s living. He must tell you how much he earns every month. You’re not going to live by faith with her.”
Reflecting on his own experience, Maduka revealed that before marriage, he ensured he had a three-bedroom home instead of moving his wife into his parents’ house.
He also stated that he was financially capable of supporting a family before making the decision to get married. “That’s part of the maturity,” he said,
KanyiDaily recalls that Cosmas Maduka lost his wife, Charity Maduka in 2021.
