It was gathered that Sea King was taken into custody on Thursday while attending a court hearing in Lagos.

His arrest was linked to allegations of cyberbullying against Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

The accusations stemmed from a live TikTok session in December 2024, during which he allegedly made defamatory remarks about Pastor Adeboye.

In a Facebook post, Sowore revealed that Sea King was detained in Ikeja before being transferred to Abuja, noting that the arrest was based on a petition submitted by Paul James Adama on behalf of Adeboye.

Sowore, who visited the Federal Investigation Department (FID) alongside lawyer Deji Adeyanju, criticized the police for their handling of the case, expressing disappointment in their priorities.

He wrote, “We just departed the DIG Dasuki Galandanchi led Federal Investigation Department (FID) of the Nigeria Police Force, where we met Olumide Ogunsanwo aka SEAKING, he was in the company of police officers who had traveled to Lagos to kidnap him.

“Adeyanju Deji and Marshal D F Abubakar we present as lawyers representing @Seaking and standing for @inibehe Effiong!
